Terms of engagement
These terms apply when you commission written reviews, studies, observation days, or board papers from Portalanchorcore.
Acceptance
A binding engagement begins when we accept your written brief and you pay the deposit stated in our fee note. Browsing this website does not create a contract. If you are commissioning on behalf of a clinic or group, you confirm you have authority to do so.
The work
We provide professional advice and written papers about clinic operations: session lists, waiting time in clinic, DNA coding, unused slots, room diaries, and related board papers. We do not supply software, hosting, or a continuing information service. Findings rest on extracts you supply and on observation you permit.
Your materials
You remain responsible for the lawfulness of any extract you send us and for removing identifiable patient information beyond what a waiting-area list necessarily shows during observation. We will not accept bulk clinical records by email or post.
Intellectual property
You may use the issued review and charts inside your organisation, including in board and governance meetings. You may not republish the papers as a product, sell them, or present them as the work of another firm. We retain copyright in our methods, templates, and the wording of unpublished drafts.
Liability
Advice is given in good faith on the extracts and observation available at the time. We are not your clinicians, your PAS supplier, or your regulator. We are not liable for clinical outcomes, lost clinic income, or decisions you take after reading a paper. Our liability for an engagement is limited to the fee paid for that engagement, except where the law of the United Kingdom does not allow a limit (including death or personal injury caused by negligence, and fraud).
Confidentiality
We will not name your clinic in public without consent. Anonymised teaching examples may be used in field notes only where a site cannot be identified.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. Our office is at 99 Manor Close, Dodford, NN7 0NN, United Kingdom.
